About you

We credit the recipe to you when it goes live. Use the name you want people to see.

So we can ask questions and tell you before your recipe goes live. Never shown on the site or shared.

If you have one, we'll tag you when we share your recipe. Skip it if you don't.

The recipe

What you call it. We may tweak it a little to fit the site.

The story behind it: where it came from, when you make it, why it works. Some of this may end up in the intro.

Pick every flavor you used, then tell us how many ounces of each. We list exact ounces in the recipe so people know how much to buy. A whole salami is 5 oz and a snack tray is 2 oz, so half a salami is 2.5.

Sliced, crisped, diced, melted into the sauce? It helps us show the salami off the right way.

Hands-on time: slicing, chopping, mixing. A best guess is fine.

Time on the stove, in the oven or chilling. Put 0 if there's no cooking.

How many people it feeds. The site uses this to scale the recipe up or down.

Helps people pick a recipe that fits their night. Your best guess is fine, we can adjust it.

How to make it

Every ingredient with amounts, one per line. People check these off as they cook, so exact amounts matter.

One step per line. Write it like you're teaching a friend who has never made it. Include temps and times.

Anything beyond the basics, like a cast iron pan or a grill. We list it so nobody gets caught halfway through.

Can it be made the day before? How long does it keep? Skip it if you're not sure.

The one thing that makes it work. The best tips get featured on the recipe page.
